About us

Peter has been teaching English since 2013 and previously had many years of experience in the Australian financial sector. Since 2018 he has been teaching English full-time at the university level, mostly in Finland.

He holds a PhD in Applied Language Studies and a Master of Education (Applied Linguistics), along with Trinity DipTESOL and Cambridge CELTA qualifications. As a post-doctoral researcher, he is mostly interested in approaches to bilingual education, such as content and language integrated learning (CLIL).

 

Peter is also interested in multilingualism and intercultural communication. In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish and Finnish and has a strong understanding of the communication styles and cultures of Spain, Finland and the English-speaking world generally.
